Women Want to Know training and resources
Did you know that 97% of Australian women wanted to be asked about alcohol use in pregnancy?
The Women Want to Know campaign encourages health professionals to routinely speak to women who are pregnant, or planning a pregnancy, about alcohol.
Women Want to Know was developed by the Foundation for Alcohol Research and Education (FARE) in collaboration with leading health professional bodies including the Australian Medical Association and the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and is supported by the Australian Government Department of Health and the ACT Government under the ACT Health Promotion Grants Program.
The Women Want to Know campaign provides practical resources to support health professionals to have these conversations, as well as accredited training course modules.
All resources are available free of charge and can be ordered or downloaded from www.alcohol.gov.au
